Class 4

Class 4 have had a busy few months. In March we visited Duxford, where we will learn about the Second World War; in May we have our SATs tests, which we are working hard towards and at the end of May we have a visit to How Hill, a beautiful and amazing environment to explore!

In class, we have been working hard on maths. Everyone in class 4 seems to like maths. Some of us have extra classes with Mr Ramm or Mr King. In literacy, we have been writing letters to pen pals in our link school, Colham Manor in Hayes, West London. We enjoy using the netbooks in class.

This year also, we have launched our own newspaper. The first edition has already been published and we are now working on the second edition.

Year six parents may find the following links helpful in preparing for your child's SATS tests.

We have also begun an IT club on Monday lunchtimes. We have started our own online spaces using www.studentjotter.com. We are now beginning to use our Virtual Learning Environment- Learn anywhere. We all like the avatar and are looking forward to buying outfits for it using points earned from doing well in school and completing our homework.
