Rugby

At Bressingham we have a long history of excellent rugby. We have a close relationship with Diss Rugby Club and have many children that have gone on to play rugby for the club and beyond! We are currently the Waveney Cup holder for 2011.

We offer Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 rugby every Thursday afternoon, where they play Tag Rugby.

We also offer a weekly club on Thursday after school, between 3.30pm and 4.15pm for Years 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 which is very popular.

This year our Y5 and 6 team has won the Diss Cluster Tournament, and then travelled to the UEA on Monday 27th February to the next round of the competition. We came 4th overall in the competition, out of 13 schools!

Our younger player (Year 3 and 4) also entered the Rugby Festival at Diss High School on Monday 12th March. Eleven teams entered the tournament and Bressingham came joint first!

We are very proud of both our teams!
